YaY!!!! next week I will be installing my thesis show "Existing Between" at my local Library.  I'm so excited to be sharing my art work with the community and hoping this will give me more opportunities :)

So....my thesis show "Existing Between" has gotten accepted in the MIAD Juried Senior Exhibition.  21 students out of 130ish were picked to be in this show that runs from June 8th-July 16th.  This is pretty exciting even though I will have to re-install my show and put together two weeks of installing into 3 days but its gonna be worth it :)

What I have witness and explored through my art is the purpose of found images and objects as a means to use these lost and forgotten "things" to create a deeper and important meaning back into the images and objects that is held within them.  My connection with these found images and objects is the idea that at one point in time these "things" had a sense of belonging and now they are nothing but things to be found and belong once again and as humans we become a belonging and become lost and found.
